Entitled homeowner uses resident's parking space, claiming she can because they are just renters: 'Well, now I am the president of the HOA!'

This former renter-turned-homeowner showed his entitled neighbor exactly who she was dealing with…

Let this story serve as a potent reminder that sometimes the most uncalled-for comments can become fuel for your eventual triumph. For this renter, he and his wife were treated poorly by the lady next door, who thought she could get away with using one of their designated parking spaces simply because she was a homeowner and they weren't. Well, that all changed when they decided to buy their place. On top of that, the former renter opted to run for president of their HOA after the former president stepped down following two decades in the position.

  • The most amusing part about the parking debacle that started it all was that just a few weeks prior, the neighbor accused the author and his wife of using her empty parking space. Of course, they hadn't, but somehow in her strangely warped worldview, it was still totally justified for her to use one of their parking spaces for her visiting friend without asking permission first. Talk about an easy way to make enemies, ma'am!
